The sugar bowl victory was worth being a dumpster fire for many years to come? You can't be serious.

We were a dumpster fire before and would have been a dumpster fire had we not cheated. So yeah. It was

That's the biggest joke of all. Having ONE 10-win season and coming in SECOND in the west and y'all feel like it was worth it.

public scandal, with nationwide news? probably...but anyone remember Charley Pell at Florida?

quote:

After the 1982 season, the National Collegiate Athletic Association (NCAA) began an investigation into possible rule violations by Pell and his staff at Florida. Pell took full responsibility for the violations in August 1984 and announced he would resign at the end of the season. However, on September 16, only three games into the season, the NCAA announced that Florida was alleged to have committed 107 infractions—including spying on other teams' practices, payments and gifts to players, and allowing walk-ons to stay in the athletic dorm.

Your attitude says it all.

Ole Miss fans just want to be relevant and remembered. They don't care how. They are desperately seeking the attention and approval of the rest of of the conference and those who who watch and cover it.

Winning all those games made Ole Miss relevant for a couple of years. The thing that is pretty pathetic, though, is that Ole Miss fans cherish this small stretch of football surrounded by scandal, because they know it will be remembered, even if for the worst.

The rest of the programs in the SEC hope to be remembered for their successes and championship seasons. Ole Miss just hopes to be remembered for anything, even something as embarrassing as this.

Pathetic.

Without an outright SEC West title and SEC title game appearance, two things Ole Miss has never captured, it's not worth it. Even Moo State has played in an SEC title game.

With the high probability that the escorts were used for recruits, UK isn't in the same ballpark. So yes.
