If there was ever going to be a second death penalty handed down, Alabama damned near earned it some years back. It took a lot of politicking by state officials to convince the NCAA. Ultimately, I think the NCAA remembered the collateral damage that occurred with SMU and that was moreso the deciding factor, even though Alabama deserved it.

Also remember the Charley Pell thing. Florida was in pretty deep shite, too.

OM may need the death penalty to face reality

Ole Miss really needs to be removed from the SEC and replaced with a school that has more integrity, like Miami.

How does it feel that MSU had a better five years during your cheating streak than you did

Just when you think this Ole Miss deal couldn't get worse, it does. This thing ain't over by a long shot. The NCAA might be the least of their worries.

How in the hell could Albert Means be close to the second biggest scandal in SEC history? The sanctions were huge, but what is happening with Ole Miss is objectively way worse than the Means deal in nearly every conceivable way: more overall infractions charged, more serious Level 1 infractions levied, coaches being complicit with money being paid and ACADEMIC FRAUD committed by the staff (while Means pertained to a rogue booster). There's just really no comparison between the two scandals. The amount of money in the single instance related to Means surpasses what has been discussed at Ole Miss, but the Ole Miss allegations indicate a more substantial and concerted pattern of cheating across more individuals, and is tied directly to coaches and administrators.

The most pathetic part of all of this is you Rebel fans believing it was worth it still
Deep down, none of 'em believes that.
Repeating that lunacy is their attempt at clinging to an iota of control in a situation where they're about to be nailed to the wall (i.e., "We knew what we were going the whole time; yeah, it was worth it!").
Human nature, I guess.

UF and Meyer's recruitment and coddling of criminals eventually led to the murder of multiple people in the NE United States
