It's only a matter of time until Charlie 2.0 provides us lots of wonderful entertainment

Aggie having a hard enough time as it is, not surprised they don't want to trade in one of their FCS games for another annual L

I think you're right. Herman looks the part but there's something odd about him, like he swallowed some antifreeze or something

FCS Opponents:
2016 - A&M(1), LSU(1)
2015 - A&M (1), LSU(1 - cancelled)
2014 - A&M(1), LSU (1)
2013 - LSU (1), A&M (1)
Looks like LSU has the same number of FCS games as A&M does over the last four years...except we didn't run away from McNeese.

I think eventually the series will resume. It will probably be around 2026 or so when it happens. This is when the XII GoR expires and the XII will be blown apart. Notice how tu really hasn't scheduled much past that date. This is also when the A&M/Arkansas contract in JW expires, which A&M has no intention of renewing, moving our games to home and home. This gives us more flexibility in OOC scheduling about the time tu's schedule opens up. That is my best guess on a time schedule for renewal.
As for the all time series, it is what it is. I was born in the early 70's so like most people that only remember the modern era, the series is close to even in my lifetime. I'm not making excuses, but for about 25 years post WW2 A&M was not the school that it has become. It more resembled The Citadel and VMI than the A&M of today. Still, no excuses. tu kicked our arse a lot during that time period.
It is a rivalry from our standpoint. It always has been and always will be. tu is the one who said it was NOT a rivalry or an important game for them. Again, I cannot really know how their fan base feels - nor do I care.
I do know that folks like Charles Satrerfield, III and all his alters make me less interested in renewal. There are folks like him in real life, and they simply remind me of how they are. Maybe if the tu fans were more like the LSU, Alabama, and Arkansas fans it would be more fun.

I'm not reading all the pages.
1. Neither team has anything open on the schedule for years. Both have marquee games booked. It's not happening any time soon.
2. At this point, A&M has an advantage by being in the SEC while tu is stuck in the Big 12. A&M doesn't need them. We have LSU, BAMA, FLORIDA, AUBURN. GEORGIA, TENN. They only get OU. tu needs it.
3. All the A&M is scared is nonsense. We've clearly had the better team over the last 5 years. We very could have had a 5 game winning streak right now.
And thread.

LSU plays at least 1 power 5 OOC game per season though, sometimes 2.
Aggie has only played ASU and UCLA

Dumbass, prior to joining the SEC, A&M played OOC games with Florida State (1998), Norte Dame, Virginia Tech, Pittsburgh, Clemson, Miami, and then started playing Arkansas annually in Dallas. Prior to that in the SWC we played LSU annually (until LSU canceled the series), had series' with Oklahoma, Alabama, Washington, Oklahoma State, and even played Nebraska and Stanford..
When we left the XII and joined the SEC our OOC schedule was fricked for 2 years because our marquee OOC game became a league game while tu refused to play us. And how do you schedule a P5 OOC game on short notice?
Are you really this fricking slow?

quite the gap there Aggie embraced the Kansas State model of OOC scheduling there for a minute.

He isn't wrong though, they were in a tough spot after joining the SEC and having their normally scheduled P5 OCC game turn into a conference game. Changing conferences screws up your scheduling for awhile.
