I don't think that's true.. He just had some arm fatigue last weekend and didn't throw. I'm sure some people were just assuming it was something more.

I assume Cole Gordon will be on the mound tomorrow for the opening game but not for sure. State has a Friday night guy but after that your guess is good as mine.

The guy that has had Tommy John? Nah, that's Mize.. He's a 1st round guy, will be gone this year. Ellis is most definitely wrong.

SecW coming down between St & LSU

Umm... no offense, but how do you figure that? MSU is clearly the frontrunner. Auburn and Arkansas are both 2 games behind MSU and 1/2 game ahead of Texas A&M and LSU (who have already played each other). A&M still gets MSU and Arkansas at home. LSU has Auburn at home but plays MSU in Starkville. Now I'm not about to predict an A&M division or conference win, but it looks like to me their chances are better than LSU's. Yes/No?

To me it looks like MSU's to win or lose. And they don't seem to be losing often.

Agree with AUsteriskPride: Mize is Auburn's best, IF he's healthy. He was nasty when we saw him in College Station.

It's still 11 games to play but State controls their destiny. If State can win this series against Auburn, the only series that I see State losing is A&M. Georgia could easily be a sweep and I don't think LSU can beat State 2 of 3 .

That's because he's a shite talker. He thinks he's better and smarter than everyone but everytime he is wrong he denies it. ZERO credibility.

Keegan Thompson was AU's ace in previous seasons and is still a very good pitcher. Casey Mize is the clear ace of the staff and will most likely be a major league closer in the next two years.

State now has a 2 game lead in the West over Arkansas and Auburn. A split today and they keep that going into the last three series.

They have a one game lead over Kentucky and State won the series against Kentucky.

LSU and A&M have a chance against State on the field, but it would take a sweep of State to see significant movement.

Florida is the team that could sneak up and win this thing. They are three games back, so they have to be almost perfect and get some help. If they go 8-2, can State go 5-5 to close it out?

Stovall is definitely gone for the season. That's 10 out for injuries and 12 out total since the year started after losing 12 off of last year's team.

The way we are going, Rooker will get a torn ACL and we'll win the damn national championship.

The fact that our first baseman is our regular Saturday guy is very telling.
