I called 4 before I could find one to do it. There was no one to sign the the contract. Hes the only one that's 18, so his friends couldn't do it. I was so mad I text alahunter by mistake lol. My exterminator was probably wondering why in the hell is this woman tellin me to get home lol.

Lmao P! When I called the jail the guy told me my kid was terrified to tell me lol. He's in so much trouble when I get home.

That's odd-if he's 18 then generally he's good to go, regardless of anyone else signing off on it.

Just be glad he's safe. And hire a good lawyer.

I'm very thankful he's ok. He might not be when I get home lol.

We've saved all the death benefit he got from his dad for college, but I done told him he's paying for it. Every penny is coming from him.

That is a plus, is it a small town jail?

It was the county jail. I'm not sure of the size, I've never been there

Hahahaha. I bet Hunter was wondering what in the hell he had done

I agree with getting a good lawyer that specializes in things like this. Don't take the cheapest lawyer. A good one will get him youthful offender status and hopefully keep it off of his record.

Well hopefully it all works out in the end, but for now just let it take some time so it builds up some dread in the young lad for when he has to face you.

I'm late to the party on this one, but I'm also glad to hear he is okay. A call from the hospital or the morgue would have been much much worse.

It took an accident where he lost his best friend and had to have multiple surgeries to finally get my son to stop being a moron. It was a horrible time, but I don't worry so much about him anymore since his head finally got screwed on straight, even if it was the hard way.

He's actually working for the law now.

He's never in any trouble. Not so much as speeding ticket and he's a good student, I'm hoping that works in his favor. IDK how many times he's going to have to go up there for court and what not. He owes his friends parents money because it was their car he was driving.

Hunter had to be thinking WTF lol. I used talk to text and when I said text my kid it brought his number up lol. Luckily all I said was "hurry and get home" lol.

My God, that had to be awful for y'all, P! At least he turned a negative into a positive. Far to often that doesn't happen. Good for him

He's in a world of shite that's for sure. He was in Myrtle Beach and is on his was back home. He got speeding, under age consumption and DUI. Do y'all know how hard it is to bail someone out from another state?

happened to me honestly and it probably ended up saving my life in the end, was on a very bad trajectory and it was a real gut check moment over that year. He will remember a night in jail, having to tell you and having to work full time for the summer in order to pay it all off and will be given youthful offender by most judges
