That's too bad. I went there so many - way too many - times during my years in TTown. pizza, philly, chicken park sub, gyro. So much good stuff.

Used to eat there all the time, while in school. Are there when I was last in Tuscaloosa. Sad to hear this.

Me too. It was almost 27 years ago that I first tried it. I still try to swing by and get one when I visit my son.
Guess I won't be doing that anymore.

When I lived on Reed Street, I ate there 2-3 times a week. They kept a bottle of my Louisiana hot sauce behind the counter just for my steak and cheese orders
Gonna miss that place, great food and the owner seemed like a good dude

Chicken parm wasn't shabby either but the steak and cheese (no mayo no onions) was off the chain. Damn Shame it closed down.

I am still grieving for Solomon's sandwiches. Steamed Pastrami on French roll.

Still live on Reed Street. I talked to the guys before they closed and they said the new place will still serve most of same stuff.
Tuts was the shite, but I'm glad I still have a place to go to on the Strip with a real philly cheesesteak. They actually order their bread from Philly.

Yes we did. . And yes, I ate at least 3 Gyros a week from Tuts... It was glorious.
I hate hearing about the old favorites going away.

Man I hope this place can make a killer chicken philly sandwich, or I'm gonna be pissed.
