Too high. You have to do actual coaching to be ranked that high.

Since Bert hasn't ever beaten Sumlin it's kind of hard to justify ranking him ahead of Sumlin.

Barry Odom will be moving up that list rather far by next off season

There's not really a good argument for Mac being outside the top 4 now that Miles, Spurrier and Richt are gone and that's from someone whose really skeptical that he's in Gainesville three years from now.

How is Coach O ranked higher than Butter Teeth after the home loss this past season? What qualifies him as a superior coach in your mind, other than that tiny homer speaking into your ear?

I assume its because they make you use a name in your mug shot.

Any list without Bert in the bottom three is shite. You really ranked him fifth?

I think it was the fact that he has already been an overwhelming success in the SEC.

I predict Arkansas is going to finish third in the SEC West, behind Alabama and LSU this year.

I agree and I don't know what that says about the current roster of coaches in the SEC.

- Mullen is a solid coach - but he shouldn't be #2 in a good league.

- Coach O has a chance to succeed I think, but clearly that's a huge risk. I think Muschamp does too, relative to his school's success expectation.

- Jury still totally out on Kirby, but once again, risk

- Thought Bilema would be solid, but so far it's been pretty bleh without much more improvement seemingly in the future.

- Stoops and Mason aren't bad for their current spots, but that isn't going to move the needle in the SEC. Freeze wasn't either until, well you know.

- McElwain, Malzahn, Butch, Sumlin just aren't good enough for what their schools should have.

Bottom line, the Big 7-8 schools in this league shouldn't be Nick Saban and a bunch of mehs/big risks. But that is where we are right now. And it's starting to show in the play on the field.

The SEC head coach roster is terrible currently.

a shite ton of mediocrity abounds here.
