Did NONE of their children decide to follow in their parents' footsteps and attend AU?
My guess is that most of them followed jobs to other locations and the majority of their children went to school in those states. It is easier for lawyers, doctors and accountants to find jobs in Alabama during those days, then it was for Engineers and Vets.
