The only thing I would disagree with is I believe Prince Tega Wanogho will start at right tackle. What you guys think?

Woody should be 2nd team. It's clear white and jf3 are not the future.

I think Darius James and Braden Smith will be our tackles with Horton and Harrell at guard.

There was a guy on one of the pay-sites claiming that both the Princes have a looong way to go. Like career scout team kind of guys.

My guess would be:

QB- Stidham
RB- Pettway
TE/Y- Cannella
or
HB- Cox
WR- KDavis
WR- Slayton or NCM
WR- Stove
LT- Tega
LG- Harrell
C- Golson
RG- Smith
RT- James

SDE- Davidson
DT- Russell
DT- Brown
Buck- Coe
LB- Tre
LB- Deshaun
Nickel- Daniel Thomas
CB- Carlton Davis
CB- Javarius Davis
S- Tray
S- Roberts

I think we're going to be really good at corner this year with Jamel Dean, Character, Dinson, and maybe a frosh or 2 stepping up. Hopefully Carlton can regain his all SEC level form he had as a frosh.

Is there any news on Woody, wasn't he a pretty big recruit coming out of high school? Will he ever see the field?

QB- We have 3 QBs on roster that have taken meaningful snaps in games and 2 have at least majority of a season under their belt. But I think Stidham has the best tools. If Sean White stays, then we will be in good shape for back-up. I think JF3 changes position or transfers.

RB- First time we have got to return a RB. KP is likely the best RB in the SEC after Chubb. Then add KJ as well. Kam Martin kind of reminds me of Tre Mason a bit. Malik Miller is no slouch either. We may have the best RB stable top and bottom.

WR- A lot of talent here, but have not got to use their full potential for one reason or another. Sean White isn't well known for hitting the deep pass well which hurts a bit. Hopefully, Stidham can help to change that.

OL- Losing Kozan hurts, but returning Braden Smith is huge. LG is a huge question mark. I am still curious on RT. We hear good things on Prince Tega. I wonder if Calvin Ashley will have a say once he gets into fall camp.

TE/H- We know Chandler Cox starts H. Added a JUCO TE because we were down to 1 TE. I didn't think we utilized the TE position enough. We hear that new OC Chip Lindsey does use them.

DL- Monty and Carl Lawson gone hurts. Marlon Davidson and Derrick Brown will take their spot. I like Jeffrey Holland and we all heard good things on Nick Coe going through bowl practice. The recruiting class for DL, I wish could have been better.

LB- I thought our LBs played well. Added some depth in recruiting class. This position was pretty strong in the last recruiting class.

DB- Lose Rudy Ford but will have Roberts step in. Rest of secondary is returning starters. Hopefully, last season was just a sophomore slump for Davis. The DB class was also kinda week but did add some depth.

Special Teams- We returned Carlson. In Gus's offense, Carlson is our biggest offensive threat. Hopefully in Chip Lindsey's offense, he is an extra point machine. We got to add his younger brother and he gets a redshirt obviously.

Coaching- Lost McGriff to Ole Miss. That really hurts. Losing him on the recruiting trial really did not help either. Glad to see the change from Rhett as OC. Hopefully Gus allows Chip Lindsey be a real OC rather than holding a title. I hope he is good though.

The schedule that we have next season looks favorable. Optimistically, if Stidham plays well and no significant injures to key players then double digit win totals are a possibility. Whether we like it or not, bama is still the team to beat in the division. Realistically, I think 8 or 9 wins. We really need to beat Georgia this season coming up or else our recruiting will likely be locked out of the state.
