quote:I thought the same but Rusty Mansell who follows this stuff closely said in this unique situation he doesn't think Carlito will count against AU. I'm not sure a player can count on the 25 list for 2 teams in the same year. He now counts for Memphis so he may not count for AU.
Pretty sure NQ still count to your LOI limit

Numbers Game: Where things stand with Auburn recruiting (247)
quote:
With Auburn landing commitment No. 12 Thursday night, here’s a look at where things stand numbers wise:
TOTAL COMMITS: 12 (Most recent: Matthew Hill, WR, Aug. 17)
SPOTS TO FILL: Approximately 12-13. With some recent transfers, Auburn is inching toward a full class of 25. There is no set number for the class at this time. It’s always fluid, right up until National Signing Day.
CLASS RANKING: No. 26 overall, No. 9 in the SEC. By comparison, Alabama is at No. 25 and Georgia is at No. 31. Auburn recruits against those two programs more than any others.
AVERAGE RATING PER COMMIT: 88.70 (90.00 is the 4-star threshold). Auburn’s total number of commits has some fans concerned, but the average rating per commit remains reasonably strong — it’s higher than No. 12 LSU and No. 13 UCLA, for example.
Now, here's a position-by-position overview ...
