Auburn added a class of 2019 commitment on Friday from a local standout.
George Pickens, a rising junior receiver from Hoover High School, committed to Auburn while on a visit Friday, he told reporters on scene.
The 6-foot-5 Pickens blew up this spring, earning his first offers from schools including Auburn, Kentucky and Jacksonville State.
He figures to play a bigger role in the Hoover offense this fall along with senior receiver Shedrick Jackson, who committed to Auburn earlier this summer.
