Glad it went this route with Antwuan Jackson. Him leaving hurts our depth. I tend to size with the coaches/schools as opposed to the players.

I'm in opposite camp. Kids are already penalized by having to sit out a year for transferring. I don't see an argument for a coach to be able to restrict a player for more than a year of playing in amateur sports


I'm not opposed to having blocks for grad transfer to scheduled opponents etc though

I take it in a case by case basis. In this case AJ was very lazy in practice & the weight room. That shouldn't be rewarded with an unconditional release. If he busted his arse & it didn't work out then ok. I could see a full release then.
