Firing Fox is the wrong decision. Not just because of tonight, but because of what he's done the past 7 years.
And that is to where our program isn't a freaking joke.

You're delusional. Nobody partied in the streets after we lost to A&M. Sure we were okay after losing on the road at Florida in OT but we have lost by an average 20 points over the last 15 years and to come that close to winning. Then Fox and co get beat by a top 10 team in OT on the road and that's not good enough either. Check your expectations. We lost to a top 10 team on the road in OT. I'm prettt sure we could lose to the Cavs in OT by 1 and you idiots would still be angry.
Bottom line is we are getting closer to where we want to be but it's taking longer than you want. Go root for someone else.

Yes. We also got humiliated by a mediocre Alabama team at home and have lost 9 games with a VERY manageable schedule.

I'm well aware.

bullshite. It's been 8 years. Nearly a damn decade. If this was year 2 or 3 I would be ok with this.
The program's not gonna get much better than this under Fox. Plain and simple. If you're ok with that, then this season is something to be proud of.

This team has no idea how to win. This game isn't on Fox but rather than the players not having "It". It's not in their DNA.

I turned this crap off after they failed to win in regulation, because I've seen this song and dance too many times. They were toast in overtime.

Right...getting beat in Florida in OT is not progress.
Neither is losing at Kentucky in OT.
Not getting closer. The closest games we've played against these teams in a decade. I see your logic.

The program is CLEARLY better now than it was 8 years ago. OT losses to UF and UK (even though Frazier rushed up bs shots at the end of regulations in both games) isn't going to make people gripe. Losing to the likes of A&M like we did, Alabama at home, and poor non-conference performances putting this team in must win situations year after year has people upset.

I totally understand that frustration and that makes sense. When you look at how we played A&M the entire game until the end...we dominated and they are playing really well now. Proving they are a decent team.
Alabama was a train wreck. People blame it on the coach and it's hard to argue against it. However, sometimes with kids you see a train wreck coming and there is absolutely nothing anybody can do to stop it. I honestly believe Coach K or Bobby Knight wouldn't have been able to stop Alabama.

We have Maten and we are bringing in Rayshaun Hammonds and Nick Claxton can shoot. You see the potential of Jordan Harris and Tyree Crump plus the development of Ogbeide. We have an opportunity to have a really solid team next year and beyond. That's why I want to keep fox.
If we had gotten blown OT tonight and Florida I would be more willing to jump on the Fire Fox train but there is growth there.

Wait let me guess...people are complaining about this game somehow?

I don't think so. Kinda hard to be upset when we played our best, they played almost their best (minus fox) and we came up short.

We've had plenty of close games with ranked UK and Florida. This is not a brand new occurrence that just started this year.
And guess what? We never won one of those either.

You haven't seen us play in Gainesville ever in the past 16 years have you. We average defeat there by like 20 points. We are competitive with them at home which leads many to believe we will beat them at home but on the road we haven't won in 16 years.
This is also the closest we have played Kentucky since Fox has been here and we were OT matched in every phase of the game. We should have lost by 15 or 20 on paper but staff coaches their butts off and the players clawed their way nearly to victory.

I dislike Fox more than anyone, but they played a much more talented team into overtime...on the road
Let's give it a rest for the night.

Jesus Christ these guys are the worst fans. I had little kids and old women and everyone in between talking shite to me.
It was amazing we kept it close with all those fouls. We don't have the depth. We ended with 20 in regulation and still had a chance to win it.
There is nothing magical about Rupp BTW... I was expecting something different I guess. It's just a regular down town arena that holds a lot of uncle frickers..

For the record, I can get a long with this Knee High. I think scrimp is earning more minutes. Woulda like'd to have seen him in the game a bit more and to shoot it from the outside a coupla times more but it's in the road in a hostile environment so I get it.
He is getting better.

Everyone was nice to me but rupp is a total joke compared to Allen fieldhouse. There's literally nothing special about rupp. I had a good time and it's a nice little downtown and some fun bars but rupp is nothing.

Then I get back to the hotel and th bar is closed.
