If Fitz develops as a passer at the same rate Dak did then yes he could be the top Qb. That's a big if though. Lol at shea for Heisman. They don't give the Heisman to players on teams with a losing record.

Wouldn't surprise me if the incoming true freshman that I watched in the Army All American game pass Eason up before the year is over.

I'll go Shea. I honestly wouldn't be surprised if he made a run at the Heisman.

The kid from ole Miss? He has shown flashes, for sure. He will definitely be a good one. Heisman, though> Not this year, I wouldn't think.

Top half will be in no order:
Eason
Hurts
Allen
Fitz
Bently
Stidham
Lock

That's some really good talent. I think Eason is at least a year away from being near the top. Stidham has the talent, but is unproven. He will make noise a year or so down the road.
I would say Fitz, Hurts, Allen and Bentley will have the best years this coming year, though. Lock won't be too far behind, with his supporting cast holding him back a little.

Stidham could be really good but the only sample size we have of him are against big 12 defenses which suck.

I totally disagree. That kid will be amazing before he graduates. He was a true freshman last year and still played very well

Not to mention the shite of an Oline we had and the drops by the WRs. I know some happened at critical times, like either for a 1st down or even TDs. I'm not sure how our Oline will be, but if they can play better and Eason takes the next step in his progression, then I think he will be good enough to lead us. His biggest problem is consistency really. He has proven he can make game winning drives and march down the field efficiently (at times).

Which many of us expected of a true freshman QB in the SEC.

Probably the returning SEC freshman and player of the year.

It wasn't just against us. Arkansas' O-line was not good last year. Austin still played really well last year despite getting the crap beat out of him. The Allen's are some tough guys.

Shea will have super stats. Very good wrs and no running game and their D will be even worse. He will throw a lot! Will be pressured a lot so he will probably have some turnovers but he is damn good. It'll be a miracle if he stays injury free.

I think Fitz is a head of Dak at the same point of their college careers. Am actually kind of worried about our game next season, hopefully our D will be ready.

The one that can't pass farther than 15 yards?

+1. Amazing what Hurts did as freshman even with the running attack. Very impressed. He will only get better and better. Probably Heisman material in 2017. Front runner for sure. Would have been championship game hero if not for Clemson's awesome QB.

Are we talking about AU QB's here, or a freshman QB who consistently overthrew his receivers all year?

He had no problem completing 15+ yard passes against AU. And are you forgetting that he ran over some SEC defenses too right?

Drew Lock. Mizzou will win the east for a third time in 6 years.

Bold prediction considering it's a team sport and defense is a BIG ol' question. I don't see us winning the East. IF (big) we do win the East, Lock will have a great year.

Lock should be in the top-3 QBs at the end of the year.
