I'm not sure why you brought up TEXAS when I'm talking about the "football team" in Collie Station. You know, the one that was propelled to world-beater status just six short years ago, simply by joining the SEC.
How has that turned out?

No offense but I don't understand your post.
Was Alabama SEC champion in 2011?

No, but the SEC champion, LSU, made the title game. Alabama didn't prevent LSU from appearing in the BCS title game by going.

I was simply saying that Alabama has a national title in a year they don't have a conference title. Would you agree that this happened?

We're in the running for the playoffs every year, even down years.
Holy shite, you better be. You play in the Big 12 shite show.

Each time a school made the playoffs/title game without winning it's conference and the team that won the conference didn't that team lost.
Nebraska 2001 (Colorado)
Oklahoma 2003 (Kansas State)
Ohio State 2016 (Penn State)
You could even expand it to include schools that lost to a team more deserving of a title appearance.
Florida State 2000 (Miami)
Oklahoma 2008 (Texas)
Alabama in 2011 didn't make it in favor of LSU, they faced LSU in a rematch.
UT in 2008 being more deserving than that OU team is a joke.

this list is basically just based on this season despite teams losing a lot of players from this season.
