Did we wake up with a crystal football or whatever the hell the trophy is now? If not, then it doesn't matter.

Last night's game proved nothing about Kirby's head coaching ability, it's not going to make Clemson a bigger threat than they already were, and bringing up players we missed out on 4 years ago is useless bitching.

Our focus should be on what we're doing right now, to get ourselves to the playoffs sooner rather than later, which was the entire reason we made a coaching change.

This program has goals, and last night's game has NO implications on them whatsoever.

I disagree. It was good for us when Clemson was Clemsoning. UT, AU, and Clemson can't survive without ga players. It does us no good whatsoever for any of these teams to be good.

Clemson slaying the Bama beast legitimizes their program in a big, big way.

I don't think it's fair say it means absolutely nothing. From a recruiting standpoint, it impacts us. A fair number of GA recruits went to Clemson when they couldn't make it over the hump. Now it will probably be a more popular destination.

There are enough people trying to take talent from the state of Georgia. If Clemson has staying power, it will only hurt our efforts.

Championships do impact those who aren't winning them. You think Bama gets so many top recruits because the kids think Tuscaloosa is just a dreamy place to spend their time? Championships attract aspiring champions. Clemson might get better recruits because of their big win, or they might not, but I guarantee you top recruits will at least take a second to see what they have to offer now.
