So the coach that LSU hire off of the K-Mart Blue light special isle with the Dora the explorer bind is going to take over the SEC from Bama.

Ok

Coach O wins the Ship and Ole Miss Fans Melt because they had a national championship coach the whole time

Let's see now. He's proven he's better than freeze, bert and summlin. state is state a sure win. He had florida beat. bama was 0-0 in the fourth.

That's a good start if you ask me.

LSU will be a non factor the next 2 years. No bullshite here. U made a big mistake hiring Orgeron that no coordinator can cover up. I said u would lose 3 to 6 games this season. You'll do good to win 6 next year. 2018 LSU will bottom out. You'll have to get another Saban to get u back being competitive for the SEC title.

Seriously, even O's biggest supporters seem to think that he's not going to actually do anything except recruit. That type of approach might've worked 20 years ago, but can it work now? I'm not so sure.

O is a football savant. People just don't know it yet.

I look at it this way.

Worst case scenario O fails but leaves us loaded with talent and he doesn't cost us much so we will have some money to lure a big time coach

Best case he wins and we give him a proper raise

in such a unique, nothing-to-lose position here.

Nothing to lose.
Other than about 6 games a year.
At least.

Someone should probably let him know then.

Or the most likely scenario...

O turns LSU into Ole Miss and is fired in 2 years.

I think he just lacks the right OC. The LSU defense played pretty good all year and they played great against Alabama.

Is Saban going to retire after the CFP? Because if he is not then this is not going to happen for quite some time.

And this is why it is so difficult for me to pull for LSU. Arrogance.
