Rumor is Georgia had 0 interest in a bowl matchup against Miami

I have heard the argument: We have nothing to gain in a bowl matchup with the hurricanes. Well, wtf is there to gain against TcU? At least Miami is a prominent program with national championships. shite, tcu was in the wac less that ten years ago. We would get more exposure playing Richt and the canes. It seems to me the university was scared to death of losing to Richt which is total bs.

We're scared, and I honestly can't say I blame us.
We'd likely be an underdog, and the shot of Richt getting the Gatorade bath after shoving a middle finger up out arses would be the most Georgia thing ever.

If it's true, that's too bad. That would have been a fun game. And, yeah, I think it would have motivated our team to no end and we would have won it.
But regardless, if we had the chance we should have done it. Would have gotten fans of both schools interested, the media interested, etc., etc.

Georgia and Miami will only ever play if its in the "playoffs". Because of how important t-shirt sales and gender studies/political science degrees are.

It looks like we're getting TCU in the Liberty, while Kansas State will take on A&M in the Texas bowl. Nothing's concrete yet

You've lost you're damn mind. What does UGA have to gain by playing Richt? We had a horrible season and struggled in every game we played in. What pro vs. con do you see coming out of this game. Best case, UGA wins. Anything else or less shows we frigged up on a hire. Let's pull the reigns and remember we gave Nichols State and uLL a game and LOST to Vandy and Tech. Who do you think we are beating. Can we just withdrawal from a bowl and practice and find a new OC?

This is not true and it is a loser's mindset. We have a true freshmen quarterback and really young team. If we lost it wouldn't mean Richt is the better coach, just look what Kirby is doing on the recruiting trail. We are going to be really good really soon. We shouldn't be scared of anything

I am not convinced that it is a downgrade. I am also not convinced he is worth a shite, but I knew Shotty wasn't.
