40% serve. 60% are playing dress up. Adorable.

So enlistment is not service now? I guess you're the expert.

Let's conveniently leave out the 10% who currently serve as reservists and the 5% who already served and are veterans.

A&M is not a military school.
Dude, I have no dog in this fight, but A&M is clearly seen as a military school among those of us who are currently serving, particularly officers. So just drop this line of reasoning because it holds absolutely no water.

Let it go.

A&M may not be a military academy (there are only three, four if you count the Merchant Marine Academy, as mandated by federal law - the Coast Guard works for DHS, not DoD), but they are a Senior Military College (one of six, also identified by federal law).

You all clearly show this by consistently coming on this website and talking about them

There isn't a single Texas team in the Top 25 at the time. It's time people realize Texas talent isn't all that it's cracked up to be. That's not to say some really good player aren't born there but not to the extent people pretend.

you know ive lived here for 11 years, been to plenty high school football games... they have no size here, never have.. I remember playing West Monroe, Oauchita, Neville, Catholic, St. Aug every year and they were huge.. the only thing bigger in texas is the stadiums and the pressure.. I still think there are better athletes and better DLineman in LA.. nothing but a bunch of pre-Madonna punks here, thats all mack brown recruited and look where it got them..

The Corps on our gayest aggy day never quite reached the homo equivalent of #CocksNotGlocks.

You know it.

I know it.

The state of Texas knows it.

America knows it.

And therein lies the quagmire that makes Aggie Aggie:

You confuse being ridiculed with being noteworthy. Would you consider laughing at Gomer Pyle, for example, to mean that he "lives in our heads rent free?"

Everyone enjoys laughing at your school, program, and fan base because it all invites such constant ridicule. Your unapologetic and totally misplaced self importance is a riot and makes for fun discourse, especially when you all come out of the woodwork after one (ONE) season with some respectable results.

Like look at Ole Sarge. He totally believes that A&M is the flagship school in Texas. That's hilarious, not because it's just so obviously untrue, but because you can tell he actually believes it.

Like Jelly of the Month, Aggies are the gift that keeps giving.

I agree with all of this. It is so true.
