Big jobs like UF, ND, tu, UT, Washington, VT, Auburn and A&M are currently filled by guys who jumped from G5

Let's look a little deeper at this.

UF - McElwain was the Colorado State head coach, but before that was Nick Saban's OC at Alabama

ND - Brian Kelly's previous head coaching job was at Cincinnati. At the time he left, the Big East was still a BCS Conference. Also, ND is his THIRD head coaching job, after Central Michigan and Cincinnati.

t.u. - At the time Charlie Strong left Louisville, the Big East/AAC was still a BCS Conference and now Louisville is ACC. Strong was the defensive coordinator at UF prior to Louisville.

Tennessee - Butch Jones followed Brian Kelly everywhere except for post-Cincinati, just as Brian Kelly followed Mark Dantonio.

Chris Petersen - This one fits your statement.

Virginia Tech - Also fits your statement.

Auburn - Really? Gus Malzahn was the architect of the Wildcat formation and offense coordinator at both Arkansas and Auburn's national title team. He was always the heir apparent to Chizik.

Texas A&M - Kevin Sumlin fits your statement

Being a G5 coach does not preclude one from having had a top coordinator job previously. It's actually exactly Morris's resume so I'm fairly confused as to why you think it is a meaningful point

Hires are made from several groups (including both of those). I listed them. If you want to parse each guy's previous resume or pretend anyone believed the Big East was a power conference, have at it I guess
