Time for Ole Miss to announce their self imposed postseason ban for 2016

You may be right, you may be wrong. Neither of us really know. We both hope for different outcomes. However, I've said all along, that those who don't play by the rules and get caught deserve to pay. That goes for teams I care about and teams I do not. Go try to stir up somebody else.

Chancellor Vitter said in July that the NCAA has accepted the Ole Miss imposed sanctions. You know the Vitter family never tells a lie.

I'm sure that voluntarily giving up a few scholarships for the next 3 years will make the NCAA forgive them lol

Can anyone provide a reputable source that provides details on what exactly is known for a FACT about the Ole Siss situation? The last I heard about it the NCAA was interviewing players from other teams asking about how Ole Miss recruited them (this was back in August). Has there been anything since then that has been published by reputable people and not random message board insiders?

In short, no. It's 100% internet speculation with not a single fact to back any of it up. Don't get me wrong, I'm afraid we're getting fricked to no end, but there's been nothing concrete to say as much.

Last week, OM's 24/7 writer stated that he understood that a 2nd NOA was indeed forthcoming.
&
Barney Farrar, the coach of Draft Night fame, has been place don Administrative leave, according to multiple media outlets
These are only significant because OM optimists have been saying that a 2nd NOA was a myth, and that Farrar still being on staff proved their innocence.
Oh, and the fact that several non-OlMiss sources have been stating that the NCAA had found more infractions and that Farrar was screwed

Pretty sure he said that their would either be a 2nd noa or that they would just amend the 1st one. He's also the one that msu fans have said for years that he doesn't know shite about anything but now he's apparently all-knowing.
And what are the non-ole miss sources not affiliated with msu?

Let's say he is on administrative leave. Have any of you EVER had a job where being placed on administrative leave would be a GOOD thing?

If you want to pin David Johnson as anything but a homer mouthpiece, then go ahead. AUstar asked for sources

I didn't want to give MSU sites all the credit. But yes, Rosie and ED predicted both of the aforementioned incidents. And have been for months

How long have y'all been saying the second NOA is bullshite? I thought most of it was bullshite too, but those posters have been validated again and again.

Shea Patterson will transfer to LSU. I love it.
How would that be good for Alabama in any way, shape or form?

Rosie and ED haven't actually predicted anything. You have to be specific about something for it to be called a prediction.
Posting vague generatilites like "it's coming" isn't a prediction.

OK man, I don't want to argue semantics this Friday.
I'll just ask this: Was anybody surprised at the news of a 2nd NOA or the Barney suspension? No.
Why? Because it had been reported ad nauseam

There hasn't been a 2nd noa to report on yet so I don't know what you're talking about.

remember Tommy West, at Memphis State, talking schit about how he was going after some UA players. I called him up, pretending to be the father of a player interested in his program, and I started asking him what bowls they'd been to lately, how many games were televised the last couple of years (this was 2001, so not as many televised games as now), and basically just subtly trashing their program. Finally, West said "maybe our program isn't right for your son" at which point I started mocking him for even thinking any University of Alabama player would transfer to his p.o.s. team. I finally called him "boy" and he got so pissed he was yelling nearly incoherently, and then hung up on me. Man, that was hilarious.

All this for Women's Basketball and Track! I'd be so pissed if I were Barney!!
