Hope probably has helped AU. Increasing the competition for UGA/Tech left a void that just isn't filled for kids who are pretty smart and from upper middle class backgrounds. They want to go to a college town and enjoy good athletics and there just isn't a third option in GA for that.
There will always be some kids from the metro who have AU #1 (like me), but I'm just not sure how feasible that is anymore. My parents paid for me to go to AU OOS over UGA w/ Hope, and that just seems outlandish these days considering the cost involved.

Well, I wasnt worried about the game until now. UGA fans are experts when it comes to ruined and wasted seasons, I'd expect ya'll to know when one was coming.
