The bad news for Ole Miss isn't finished

***Just an update on what we're hearing from off-the-record sources regarding the ongoing NCAA investigation: We understand that an amendment to the first Notice of Allegations is expected. If not an amendment, then a second NOA in and of itself is expected. We use the word "expected," as no one knows if it is imminent, but there seems to be a collective feeling that it is coming. There is nothing earth-shattering in that, but we are now hearing that finality of the investigation could carry on well into next summer and possibly even into the fall of 2017. There does not appear to be a pathway to a speedy resolution, as most have hoped for. On a side note, we are unaware of any new smoking guns that have arisen in all of this, so it's difficult to put a finger on cause and effect if this ultimately proves to be the case.

The fact that it's taking this long should be worrisome enough.

...and I thought the election cycle was too long.

Ole Miss said a year ago nothing to this.

Except everyone, regardless of side, was happy the election was finished. In this, everyone seems to be enjoying the long drawn out suffering of Ole Miss.

I agree. It's taking way too long and probably should have already been wrapped up. I mean what more could they possibly find? They've been investigating forever.

This is why you don't buy players.
You should've bought the refs and SEC front office employees.

Probably would have been the better option.

Considering the Ole Miss sites have down played this shite every step of the way and initially reporting that it was not a big deal I would say that coming from this source that it is in fact a big deal. You guys should know by now not to downplay everything that is reported. Hell I actually don't care that you cheated and I don't want to see you hammered but if I were a rebel fan I would be concerned.

Isn't this what Rosie's been saying all along?

Were these the same people saying:
1. they can't find anything
2. ok but it was only women's basketball
3. no level-one violations
4. all the football stuff was from a previous staff (as if that somehow matters)

Man, if you Ole Miss people would have listened to me - I tried to explain this months ago.
The NCAA found out that you were still cheating even during their investigation. I told you that defensive player from Memphis was being bought to transfer to OM. That's why he backed off, the Ncaa got hold of it. Furthermore even now, some Ole Miss people are trying to pull some bullshite with Msu football commits. You deseeve what is coming and are still cheating.
