It's embarrassing. Most Mizzou fans don't give a shite if our team isn't winning.

Further proof they don't belong in the SEC. I'm baffled as to why the commish & univ. presidents let them in.

Mizzou can stand up for themselves but I would like to add that the Tigers have won the SEC East twice. Not counting this year, how many times has Kentucky even had a sniff at the East?

When the BDF was fairly good they were always a team to be concerned about. Certain SEC East teams (and you know who you are), have not been a threat since ol' yeller was a pup.

They may not be a cookie cutter SEC team ie pom pom waving etc but what is wrong with being different?

Keep doing what you have been doing Mizzou.

I know a lot of fans that won't go to any games until the idiots that played a part in the BS last year are gone. If the writer had gone to a game before the mess last year he would've left with a much different opinion.

Or until the university makes it clear that's not what they stand for. It's sad. But the protests have really affected fan support.

ETA: and everyone always bags on the stadium. It's kinda dumb.

Mizzou has the worst game day atmosphere in the sec and it's not even close

Why sniff at the east when you have won the whole thing twice. Once with the Bear and once with the Fran.

In the meantime the East gives the SEC the leg up in basketball via Kentucky, wimminz basketball via Tennessee, and book larnin via Vanderbilt. South Carolina has done their part since joining in baseball and keeping the Taters under control. Gators have been the religious bellwether of the east by given us all Saint Tebow and Demon Spurrier. Georgia has been our own Maxwell Smart when it comes to football in a post Herschel world (another reason to not like Trump as it cost UGA another Natty).

Mizzou is still trying to find their niche and having a petting zoo is actually pretty cool if you are getting kids involved to become the next generation of Mizzou fans then I say, well played Mizzou!

Just remember to hide the sheep when the TAMU fans come to town and it should all be good. You might also need more security when LSU comes to town so none of them critters wind up in a Tiger cook pot.

I know having dudes yell makes you a bit backwards but a refresher

pom pom = thing female cheerleaders shake
shakers = thing SEC fans in stands use to enhance gameplay and to stir drinks with

Do you really not see what is wrong in a red blooded big boobed female lovin south?

Acceptable TAMU "Yell Leader"

Acceptable TAMU "Yell Leader" if the rest of the SEC got to pick them

Well, if it had been a generation ago it would have been to make some good burgoo but kids today just don't know how to cook! Whole damn generation has been raised on chicken nuggets and bad hot dogs.

I was always surprised the SEC didn't go after West Virginia when they were looking to expand and I thought Missouri was an odd choice but with a couple years together I gotta say you folks are alright.

Mizzou was admitted for two reasons, TV sets and academics. Both Mizzou and TAMU are AAU academic institutions and outside of Vanderbilt the academic reputation of the SEC is a joke. Florida is an AAU school but they are in decline. A degree from the rest of the SEC schools is viewed by everyone else as a Grade 13 diploma. Just an extension of high school.

There are many college rankings but AAU membership and research funding is the true measure of a university.

The petting zoo was there because it was ag day and there is an effort to have a family friendly experience.

If we had added West Virginia instead the goat outside the stadium would have been the Homecoming Queen.

Mizzou fans shouldn't get snooty about academics. If you live in your state going to the state flagship school is ideal. If your moving to a huge city on the coast, vandy is the only school that could open doors. Nobody in NYC gives a frick about the difference between Mizzou and other sec schools if there is any
