quote:they think there little running back is good, hell he must be great, he has 10 more yards of offense than a gimp Fournette. In twice as many games, that is good...right. And he got that TD, so there is that
just don't get Alabama fans sometimes
And one in this thread is spelling our RB name as Lynyrd.
I celebrate the day that plane went down, too....glad they are keeping the memory alive, music has improved every day since.

I was being generous to you. We'll just go with the AP then. LSU - 0-2

Well which is it...Lynyrd or Lenard?
I've never seen his name associated with championships or Heismans so my question is obviously legit.

That's Fournette on a bum ankle at 80% and maybe 90% vs Webels

And not to dwell on a troll thread, but to correct the record, it's currently:
DH: 87 carries, 697 yards, 8.01 ypc (1 TD)
LF: 83 carries, 670 yards, 8.07 ypc (5 TD)
So LF has a higher ypc by a slim margin. This is while sitting out against the easiest part of the schedule and playing against the toughest part.

So he is producing at a rate of a great running back on two bad ankles.
Does he get caught from behind a lot? I thought RBs were supposed to be fast.

If LF7 plays against the cupcakes he missed out on, his YPC would be a yard or two better than Harris's easy.

Yeah, Harris has been caught from behind.
I don't think Bama has ever had the opportunity to try to catch Lynyrd from behind as he's been less than elusive behind the LOS.

10 pages on this, huh? When comes to LF or Harris, LF is clearly better. However, the battle between LF and Henry, well Henry won that one hands down with a stiff arm trophy. Something LF will never have.

Our LSU friends got a little worked up itt. We've covered diverse topics such as RBs, genealogy, and late 70's southern rock. Good stuff.

These two are clearly the league's best RBs, but I guess we'll see who is actually better in 2 weeks.
While this thread is clearly pretty stupid and you should feel stupid, I do think Harris will have more yards than LF7 in the Alabama vs LSU game this year.

Nobody realistically thinks Damien Harris is better than Leonard Fournette, right?
nope, fournette is a freak. we're just here for the statistics bitch fight

quote:I thought so, his 16 carries against Ole Miss went for 140, LF got 16 carries too. His went for 280, if Harris could out run folks, the sky may be the limit for him.
Yeah, Harris has been caught from behind

LF was hurt and playing better defenses. Guice is better than harris. LF on another level

DH does not have LF's top end speed or size and strength. But, I bet he has more yards carrying the rock on Nov 5. We will put up a wall and you don't know how to do that.

Well, it'll be interesting to watch, nonetheless.
