I don't need a history lesson on our roller coaster of a QB situation in 2014 and 2015. How hard did we recruit this kid? And in a related, but unrelated point, will Mond be better?

we recruited him pretty hard from the get-go. He came to a few of our fall camp practices even and there was some thought the staff could flip him then but in the end, our depth chart worked against us. Our season and playing both QBs didn't help and solidified his decision.

After the transfers we reached out to him again since he indicated our QB pipeline was a factor originally. But since he was an EE, it was too late to flip him really.

Mond has a similar skill set. Will he be better? Who knows. Part of that is work ethic, coachability, personality, etc. Those intangibles are especially important for QBs.
