hey TW, I agree with you 100%. It's tough to know what to do even when you see someone imploding right in front of you. The natural reaction is to get away from them rather than help them.

And it's truly one of the most difficult things in the world to realize someone you know and love is a threat to themselves or others. It's easy to just say to ourselves, they'll get thru this bad period and then they'll be back to being themselves.

Unfortunately in TJs case, way too many people did this. I don't want blame anyone because it's not that simple, but I do want to explore how we as a society can do it differently.

But I don't know the story on Tre Mason. Can you elaborate?

mason has disappeared at least a couple of times and had some run ins with the law since getting drafted. apparently too many concussions have left him with severe brain damage as his mother described him as an adult with the mindset of a 10 year old.
