corprew was ruled a non qualifier two weeks ago, which wasnt really a surprise, but now caldwell is being ruled a partial qualifer as well
this is a huge blow

What's the story on Caldwell's situation, i.e., why he can't play? Haven't been able to keep up.

Caldwell wasn't ruled a non-qualifier. He was ruled a partial. The difference is pretty large. As a partial, he is essentially a forced redshirt this year. He's in school, knocking out credits, on scholarship, and I believe he can practice with the team.

We were going to take a step back in 2017 anyway. I think 2018 might be a special year.
