@AUBlog: Asked if, after last night, there was any regret to not playing Sean White for the full game against Clemson, Lashlee said "No."

WTF. They don't regret it? We would have won that fricking game. It was a fricking awful game plan.

WHO CARES WHAT THEY SAY??

Coaches lie to the media. Who cares? Their actions indicate differently.

Gus seriously needs to do like Saban. NO coordinators or coaches in front of press during season. EVER.

Rhett Lashlee is such a waste of money.

Our staff can't admit that they blew the game with massive stupidity.

Umm that's pretty much what you should expect him to say. Another stupid thing to complain about

CPA, what do you want him to say? We made a mistake and it cost the team a game?

Not going to happen

Who knows how the game would have went. Id like to think we would have had a better chance to win the game but its not a given. Our red zone play is still bad and there is no way to know if we make those big plays to win against Clemson. Once we would have gotten in the red zone, we more than likely would have faltered more than we did.

The last series before the half Saturday night is a perfect example. Guy wide open in the end zone, White misses him from two yards away :banged: Wasn't even close.

What was he supposed to say? If he says "yes", all he is doing is throwing college kids under the bus. They know they made a lot of bad decisions in that game.

The whole quote was, "No. Just glad we played well last night. That's all we're focusing on because that's all we can worry about right now."

Gus already admitted it didn't work. No need for anyone else to say anymore. Shoulda woulda coulda. Team doesn't need to look back and question, just forward.

As far as Briles is concerned, on the surface I don't think there's any way AU hires him. However, he and Gus are friends AND the fact Alabama is becoming Second Chance U for college coaches, and people are crediting Saban it might help warm our admin to allowing this to happen. Probably not though. If they did, I'd imagine it would be in an off-field analyst role to start.
