The D won't be top 15 or anything, but it is a good D. Assuming we stay healthy in the back end.

Yep I wanted to believe and I've defended Clemson all I could but each passing quarter makes it harder.

Somehow I went from telling people to slow down when talking about our Defense to talking them off the ledge about our Defense without Auburn even taking the field

Because it's the scientific method? Teams go against each other week to week and - while there are other external realities to consider - it gives indications of a team's strength and weaknesses. Troy holding Clemson highly vaulted O to 13 at the half doesn't speak well to Auburn's supposed grand defensive stand against them. We need to play more games to get a better picture, but the data point isn't great.

There's no way that Clemson is "bad." They probably aren't as good as advertised. But they definitely ain't bad.

It's so hard to tell this early in the season. I'm not saying this is my opinion but Troy could end the season with a top ranked defense just like Boston College did last year. Point being it's just so hard to tell anything when we only have 7 out of 48+ quarters worth of information rn.

Troy got screwed. Clemson gave away a TD before half. Clemson's D is good. The offense is shockingly average.
