11:00 AM Kickoffs Aren't That Bad...

Left at the half and took the kids back to the tailgate, so I didn't have to watch the 2nd half (radio). Caught LSU-Wisky on XM on the way home. Got home in time to watch the 4th quarter. Saw the end of Arky's near turd sandwich. And, will get to watch all of Bama-USC. I kind of like the 11:00 slot, and I think there are many more of those to come for our Bulldogs after today.

So you're the people everyone is complaining about leaving the game.
Look, if you take the time to go up to Starkville, stay into the 2nd half.. you go up there that entire day is for the Dawgs, and if you don't want to do that then stay home man.
I'm not telling you to stay the entire game, which most hardliners would. But don't leave at the half, the team could have used a full(er) stadium in the 2nd half.

Let's see, how do I put this politely.....Frick You.
Reality is these crappy games are when a lot of parents take the opportunity to take smaller kids and give them the opportunity to experience the games. More reality, you deal with small kids sitting out in a 100+ heat index with no cloud cover and no wind they aren't going to last much more than a half. As far as the student section clearing out at halftime, no excuse for that, but speaking for old folks and folks with young kids, I'll repeat myself. Frick You.

Gotta agree with you here, Taxman. Absolutely no sense in going to a game until halftime. IDGAF who we are playing

Especially students. If you are a student and leave before the end of the game, eat a bag of dicks.
We need to half their section and start only offering tickets in 3 game packages, like most other universities, if they keep leaving early.

So you're argument was that 11:00am games aren't that bad, then you proceed to bitch about the heat and the sun..
It stands to reason that evening games are better in the early season rather than being out in that God awful heat. That's the entire reason I didn't go myslef. frick that...see you can say frick here.

Empty seat at the beginning of the game = OKAY
Empty seat after halftime = BAD
It makes perfect sense now.

Actually I gave my tickets away free to people who were thankful to have them.

Wow. Those things had a street value of about $5 a piece. You sound like a swell guy, unless of course you took a write off on them.

Leave it to the taxman to take a write off on a South Alabama ticket.
