Can you imagine the scene on gamedays in Tuscaloosa if Bryant was buried in that cemetery by the stadium?

That cemetery at UA needs to go. It's an eyesore and is hampering development along Bryant Dr.
Good luck with that. PS I have family that are buried in there.

They might also want to do something about the 2 looney bins right next to campus.
The university bought the property Bryce sat on some time ago. I'm not sure what other one you are talking about.

Heck, if I was a UA alum I'd like a plot near the south end zone in tusc
Only if my family could park there. Technically the dead owns the plot right?

Probably Taylor Hardin, which is basically a prison for the criminally insane. I had to spend a little time with patients there during medical school. Creepy place.

My favorite mascot cemetery is the one at Ole Miss.

I have to admit, the concept is foreign to me, since we eat our dead.

We have two chicken places within walking distance of the stadium. I know what you mean

So Updyke has a pre-paid plot already secured? Or does he prefer to buried close to the Bear?

Well said, brother. Well said.

A&M opened the Aggie Field of Honor two years ago. It is half a mile from the stadium but you can see the stadium from the cemetary.

I haven't read all the way through, but is this a Kathy Bates/Blind Side joke?

If you mean within, say, five miles, I would wager all of them do.
Brother, we are in the Bible Belt!! You can't walk outside, pick up a rock and not hit a church or cemetery. The SEC school that might not fit in this category is Mizzo.

Kentucky does not in the immediate vicinity (less than a mile.)
I think the old witches cemetery on Nicholasville Road might be in that mile

Well I'll be. Lived here my entire life and had no idea that was there once I googled. My dad grew up early on on Penmoken Park before they moved across from Calumet Farm. I'll ask him about it, I'm sure he probably knew about it as a kid.

USCs stadium is built on top of an old cemetary. Im not saying its an old indian (native american burial site) but it was a family cemetary and the bodiez excavated and relocated. Well as many as they could find. Im sure some remains are still beneath and if youre supetstious it explains a lot with our football history
