You know all about Aggy. I couldn't tell you the LSU fight song name if I had a gun to my head.

More like, those songs are over 100 years old and come from a situation that is completely different from the one today

Needs a lot of lyrical work in terms of flow with the original TBH IMHO

Have you seriously never heard this before? My God, put down the Pokemon Go. Its lyrical cadence matches the original perfectly.

Dude, yall are obsessed with Texas still. It isnt a big deal. It is part of what makes rivalries and sports fun. No clue why you want to run from it. Lsu is obsessed currently with Bama, it would be a lie to say otherwise

I bet there were (and still are) a lot of confused SEC fans when aggy starts swaying and chanting about cutting TEXAS' horns off. The Eyes of Texas is even part of the melody.

Anybody ever heard the barbershop classic, Goodbye My Coney Island Baby? They even look nerdy like aggy cheerleaders when singing it.

Aggy or just downright goofy?

DeLoss should've sued aggy for copyright infringement on The Eyes of Texas. Joe Jamail would've had a kick out of that (while he kicked shite out of aggy).

You are better than this. You are very rustled. You are supposed to be the rustler on this board, not the rustlee

4. Tennessee

...

"Down the field" is the 4th best fight song in the country?

What, did the panel go deaf after hearing it and just assumed?

Down the field

Anyone who's played NCAA football will recognize it.

I agree Rocky Top is one of the most iconic college football songs out there, but dang do people perpetuate the myth that it's Tennessee's fight song.

That said, you don't get to claim a song you didn't use until 1972 as your "fight song". It literally takes a crap on several decades of tradition; especially when it wasn't written with the university in mind to begin with.
