have they face the charges to it yet? If they got fined or had to spend a couple days in jail plus the coach punishing them by making them run bleachers or something then this is fine by me.
If you suspend them then you punish the whole team instead of them.

It's appropriate. It's a misdemeanor, none of these guys has ever been in trouble before and I imagine they have been running stadiums until they puked.
