I hadn't thought of that, that's actually a good idea.

So far I had been thinking about various computer related degrees, business degree (not sure exactly what I'd do with it but it's a practical degree), and because I love the outdoors Wildlife Ecology and Management.

The first time around I was going for journalism but that's not really practical financially, especially now that I'm almost 25.

If you don't have a specific field you want to go into then a business degree isn't a bad route simply because you can get a job just about anywhere. I would also look pretty hard at some type of computer science degree. Programming is always an option but IMO it takes a special person to code all day, every day. My degree is in mathematics with a computer science minor and have thought about going into education or maybe getting my masters and getting a cushy job teaching at a JUCO. I work for a bank now and for most part you could have a degree in abstract art and still get hired in most positions.
