Though I fish for a living now, I am a EET. I would probably do the same. I worked about 15 years before I gave it up for the low paying life of fishing and I really enjoyed it
My wife is a Pharmacist. Let me say, it is a sweet job. So much flexibility, pays excellent and is always going to be sought after. If I had a daughter right now that was going to school, I would push her towards it

I hadn't thought of that, that's actually a good idea.
So far I had been thinking about various computer related degrees, business degree (not sure exactly what I'd do with it but it's a practical degree), and because I love the outdoors Wildlife Ecology and Management.
The first time around I was going for journalism but that's not really practical financially, especially now that I'm almost 25.
