11 schollys gone, contact with recruits cut....

Are you back to the cellar?

Or, Nahh, not a big deal still?

Not back in the cellar, but it's a big deal.

Will definitely hurt, but it isn't going to derail our football program

We gave away a scholorships to a senior that never took a snap a few years ago. Just because we felt bad. We got scholorships to throw away

It won't help matters but it won't kill the program at all.

That class we just inked should really help ease the blow.

You honestly believe that they'll only lose 11 scholarships?

This is only Ole Miss's recommendations for scholly loss. Due to Ole Miss's exemplary cooperation, the NCAA may actually lessen the amount of scholarships lost.

in the mid 90s, NCAA hit Ole Miss and Billy Brewer with a reduction of 12 scholarships per year, for 2 years. that is 24 scholarships over 2 years, a whole class. tv ban for 1 year, and a bowl ban for 2 years. seems like the worst penalties ever handed out in the history of the ncaa, minus the death penalty smu got...and the worst thing Ole Miss did that time was taking recruits to strip clubs in Memphis.
