The meaning and use of the word journalist has been used over and over again to justify shitty opinions. Every single one of these journalists are sensitive and self righteous to an insane degree simply because of having their opinion constantly reinforced. I get it you work in the industry but you know this truth as well as I do. They hide behind the journalist moniker to avoid the heat they inevitably get when popular opinion turns against them. I say all that acknowledging that it is absolutely their right to write and espouse anything they deem print worthy however that doesn't exempt them from backlash because they were "doing their job".
I hope that Neal and Kellenburger enjoyed their time in the limelight because they're not getting information for a long time. To be sure they will play the victim and talk about being persecuted but really they're just being pussies that can't handle negative consequences. The same way Neal loves to tell us about being run out of Alabama such will be the narrative when he inevitably is frozen out.
Also we can dispense with the lecture about journalistic ethics like I received when I told my brother the same stuff and he was jumping to their defense. In no way am I suggesting that they shouldn't have asked the questions; I'm simply pointing out that trying to throw the JOURNALISM PURITY shite out there because you pissed off some of your readers and most of your sources is woefully stupid at best and fricking pathetic at worst.

One thing that journalists need to realize is that you can report on subjects and ask questions, but you have to accept the consequences that come with those actions. If you can't accept the consequences then you're not in the right field.

I don't really disagree with any of that post.
