regardless of pick.....I say Johnny Manziel..of all the picks since 1967 modern era...he has to be the worst..not even a close second.

My three worst draft picks would be the following:
1. Bo Jackson, #1 overall by the Tampa Bay Buccaneers. Never played for Tampa Bay and was never traded. Bo was a completely wasted pick.
2. Ryan Leaf, #2 overall by the San Diego Chargers. Injury plagued, he managed only 4 wins in 3 seasons with San Diego with 13 TDs and 33 interceptions.
3. Jamarcus Russell, #1 overall by the Oakland Raiders. 7-18 as a starter with 18 TDs vs. 23 interceptions.

Ryan Leaf was objectively worse than Russell. Leaf won like 4 games over 3 seasons. Russell won 7 with an inferior team. The sticking point with Russell is that he had an outrageous salary guarantee (this was before the rookie pay scale).

Jamarcus Russell was the 1st overall pick and played 3 years in the league. Dude got benched and replaced by Bruce Gradkowski. Only thing positive from his career was beating Denver in his final game. Maybe I'm bias, but Jamarcus was just awful.
But for all the media outburst Leaf had, I'd say he's number one, but Russell is right behind.

Bucs never paid bo tho I'd switch him and Jamarcus just off that

Nobody is saying Russell was good in the NFL, just that he wasn't necessarily the worst.

I assume you you're a Browns fan, Buckeye.
That must stink.
Seriously.

Leaf career stats..3600 yardds passing..Manziel..1600 total yards..as completely worthless as Leaf was..Leaf is twice the man Manziel was..and his negative image eclipses even the lowest scum of the draft pond.

I don't know. Manziel hasn't resorted to selling drugs on the side at a division three college, while also being an assistant coach at said school.
