I agree with that. Unless he has a Clint Capela role I imagine he starts out as a top backup center. Worst case scenario he works on his game in the g league for a while. Josh Primo was drafted early in the NBA draft last year and is probably still in G league. Potential often doesn’t work out as planned. We see that with many “next Dirk” foreigners every year.

Do you people even watch the games. The dude was sub 60%, in what world is that good?

Pretty sure I saw a highlight of Primo last week w/ Spurs.

will be surprised if he goes first round. Most likely second.
He will almost for sure go round 1. At the back end of the draft teams are willing to gamble on 7ft shot blockers.

You're doing a good job of living up to your loud and wrong moniker here. Primo has been on the NBA roster for over half the season, and Kessler is predicted to go in the 20-30 range of the first round pretty much in every mock draft.

Size always moves up in the draft

I never presented an argument that Primo was certainly still in the G league. I didn’t know and didn’t care to search. Regardless my point remains that a lot of “potential” picks don’t work out.
Kessler will be drafted for his high percentage shots and defense. That’s draftable. The offensive portion of his game is pure potential at this point and any further improvement isn’t a guarantee.

Most back of the first round picks in the NBA don't work out, no shite. Kessler is offensively extremely raw, and he still needs to add some weight and muscle to reach his defensive potential, but he is a very fluid athlete with huge upside.
At the very least he looks like a solid rotation player/career backup type floor. Which is good value at the end of the first round. If he turns into someone like Mitchell Robinson that's still a huge success.

How about we let him get in the league and see how he does?

Really Corch this place has been dead and you want people to stop talking.
Which is what I’ve been saying. Thanks for catching up, yushu.

No not saying stop talking. Potential some see and some see limitations. It's ok to have both views but we won't know until he gets there. But as a general rule for the NBA if you are a first rounder you go. It's not like the NFL or MLB draft with multiple rounds that you can really move up a lot.
This is just a personal opinion I have no facts to back it up but over the years the late first early second draft projections that players decide to come back and try to improve their draft status seems to not work out for about 65-70% of players. They mostly seem to stay in the same position, drop, or go undrafted.

One of the better video's I've seen from a player. The kid gets Auburn and we are better off for having him
