Unfreaking believable the ONE position group where bama returns better production and you cite it as a reason tide is better.
I'm citing Alabama is better because I've seen all of these kids play. I've seen them all play against each other. You can point to "tackles" all you want. Just because our 5 stars didn't play as much as our other older 5 stars doesn't mean they're worse than your 4 stars, but we've already been over that.

Dupree was #1 WR coming out of high school.
That's cool. Ridley had more yards as a freshman than Dupree has in his career.

Godchaux would start

Now he will be working with the best talent and most unbelievable athletes he has ever coached. He was working with 2* & 3* players up until now.
He's also going to be playing against them every week. A different caliber of offensive player ends up at Alabama, Ole Miss, even Arkansas than you see at Illinois, Indiana, and Purdue. You're also using hyperbole. Wisconsin signs more 4* rated guys than they do 2*. The majority of their class is usually 3*, but there's another team in this league that has whipped y'all like a dog the last few years that does the same thing. You can point to high school talent and tackles all you want, y'all are soft. You beat up on the cream puffs and show boat around with your chest puffed out, then November rolls around and LSU gets hit in the mouth and just lies on the canvas like a dead fish

Defensively LSU had a lack of talent and depth in thier front. Bama and Arkansas just lined up and pushed LSU 5 yds off the ball most of the game. There was no scheme advantage or busted plays. LSU talent level defensively is average at best.
Offensively their Oline can't pass protect and when they meet teams with similar athletes they get no push. They are overratted yearly. Before November came it was the best O-line in the SEC then Bama, Arky, and Ole Miss happened.
LSU has elite talent at WR, and RB they are average or below average everywhere else.
LSU is no longer elite and eventhough they have only won the west once in 8 years they feel the they are somehow still right there with Bama for whatever.
Arkansas, Ole Miss, and Auburn will all be tougher games for Bama than LSU.

How bout QB? BH has a whole season of starting experience? Way more completions and TDs than whomever starts for the tide. Is LSU better at that position?
How often do we have to hear "this is the year" with LSU QBs? Until proven otherwise, I'll two the inexperience at Alabama over what LSU has. Kiffin continues to produce an elite offense. LSU hasn't consistently.

All factually accurate, they'll be back in a few years though. They had a great D-line haul last year.

I'm not sure about that. Maybe Ole Miss will be our toughest game, but LSU should be very good. If LSU loses more than 2 games in the RS it will be a massive underachievement.

And Saban will be gone from Bama in a few years and they will go back to being a mediocre team. But it will be fun to see the melt of all the Bama fans who think they will still be as dominant after the departure of Saban. They will still be competitive, but they will also have some 3 and 4 loss seasons.

LSU CAN be very good, there is no guarantee that they WILL be very good. Not to beat a very dead horse but the LSU offensive line was just decent last year and they have some major concerns at the QB position right now.
Harris has yet to show solid passing ability and he doesn't have the speed/instincts to be a great option QB. He's just sort of there... and that really hurts LSU when they play teams that match up physically with the Tigers in the trenches.
If LSU develops a mildly dangerous play action passing attack they are a threat to win the SEC and make the CFP. If not they roll through the early part of their schedule and then lose two or three games that get really ugly for them.

nobody will disagree with any of your post, but Harris did have a very solid October and he had to get surgery for a sports hernia at the end of the season from a hit in the Alabama game. He's not the messiah but he is better than what he showed in November.

If he's put in the right position play wise I think Harris could be effective. For example, the roll out play action pass that Arkansas used a ton of last year should be right up his alley. Its a limited and easy read (and there is nothing wrong with that since the play action is doing most of the work) and he's got just enough speed to scamper for 4-5 yards if everyone is covered and probably still slide to avoid a hit.
Move the pocket some, have some screen passes to offset the blitz, throw the occasional bomb... and viola... LSU does just enough to back opposing teams off the line to let Fournette do his work.
Unless he's gotten a lot better at the option I'd scrap it, if the play action passing is working right you won't need it and Harris can still scramble from time to time when the pocket collapses. It will reduce the chance of him getting dinged up on a 3 yard run that could have easily gone to a RB instead.

My comment about LSU WRs was to show they are as talented and athletic as bama's. Dural and Dupree would have been in the rotation the last two years. Never said either was better than anyone from bama. Johnson would have probably redshirted in '15 and in the mix in '16.
The bama company line is their backups ALL play starters minutes. If that's the case they sure don't produce like the starters.
Godchaux and his 41 tkls, 6 sks and 9 tfls would be the starting end opposite allen.
LSU finished fourth in rushing "D" in conference. Pretty good for a soft defense I would think.
Tigers returning front seven players were responsible for 2.25 sks per game and 3.8 tfl per game.
Almost forgot for a soft "D" that only beat up on cupcakes. How is it that of our six common opponents LSU "D" held FOUR of them to LESS yards than that great bama "D"? A defense that is losing about half of their two deep on the front seven.

For starters, 2 of those games Alabama allowed a whopping 1 yard more than LSU. Lsu had the luxury of playing against several back up quarterbacks making their first start. If you take the total yardage of those common opponents, Alabama outperformed LSU by 284 yards. Then of course there was the meeting of the two teams themselves, which all but confirmed that the lsu defense was indeed soft. Derrick Henry is still running

Yeah. Allowed a total of 182 yards to the cupcake known as LSU. Allowed 6 of 19 passing or 128 yards to that cupcake, and gave up 54 yards on 26 attempts (2.1 yards per) to that cupcake.

Home field advantage is great and all, but unless LSU makes great strides they're going to get beaten. Again.

I was more referring to the players.

Really?
In my opinion LSU, and Bama as well, show boat less than anybody in the conference.
