Looks like it us 8-8 as the '51 game played on wikipedia says it was played in Tuscaloosa, yet other sources have that as played in Mobile.
The Alabama official site has the 1951 game in Mobile, Alabama. Rolltide.com

Yeah, I am agreeing saying 8-8 is what it actually is.

I'd assume the first game played in TS for the series would be 1925
Alabama beat LSU 42-0 in Baton Rouge in 1925.

Probably not in Tiger Stadium though. Attendance was listed as 8000. I'm sure the stadium held more than that when it first opened.

"LSU's last home game at State Field was on November 15, 1924 against Northwestern State. LSU won this game by a score of 40-0. LSU moved to, the newly opened, Tiger Stadium the next week in a game against Tulane on November 27, 1924."

Unless someone else knows better, I'm just going to assume it was Tiger Stadium.

at LSU?

mark the W for Alabama - add an asterisk then explain that not only will Alabama win the game but it will be in heartbreaking fashion for LSU

QB: LSU
WR: Bama
Oline: lsu
RB: lsu

Dline: LSU (two players are first round projections)
LB: even
DB: LSU

Head coach: Bama
OC: Bama
DC: LSU

Home field: LSU

I will bet any of you that LSU is favored

Ok ill play

QB Push - Harris is hot slaw and Bateman needs to play a full game to warm up his slaw.
WR- NOT EVEN CLOSE Bama
OLINE- Push
RB- LSU

DLINE- BAMA
LB- BAMA
DB- LSU but close

HC-BAMA
OC-BAMA
DC- Push

This defense talk about other teams and blah blah. Bottom line we are talking about Bama vs LSU not against everyone else. Bama dominated LSU on every level last year, our Def is stacked again, our RB is going to be really good, and we have amazing WR's. Get over it.

Since November, right?

Since that first dipshit win for Bama. There were 10 other players more deserving that year than Ingram that year.

Unfreaking believable the ONE position group where bama returns better production and you cite it as a reason tide is better.

How bout QB? BH has a whole season of starting experience? Way more completions and TDs than whomever starts for the tide. Is LSU better at that position?

Dural, Dupre and T Johnson could play for anyone. Dural is good for about 20 ypc. Dupree was #1 WR coming out of high school. T Johnson was #1 WR for most of the recruiting cycle. Slipped slightly at the end. All three are very talented.

I know you don't want to move over to other side of the ball and compare returning PRODUCTION at any of the position groups.

Godchaux would start. Herron and LaCoture would be in rotation, especially in '16. Gilmore would play also.

As for Aranda, time will tell. His "D" has produced at every stop he has made in coaching career. Now he will be working with the best talent and most unbelievable athletes he has ever coached. He was working with 2* & 3* players up until now.

He did shut down a pretty good SC "O" in bowl game. Saw some clips of the game. Same LB blitzed three straight plays through the same gap and sacked the QB all three times.

You also thought the LSU "D" was on the field a lot more than the bama "D". Did you ever find those actual numbers?

I'll give you a little help. bama "D" was on the field for 150+ more plays than the LSU "D".

Might want to check the returning numbers before making that statement.

3 more games. It doesn't matter because Bama's defense was far superior last season and will be this season. LSU won't just transition to the Aranda look without growing pains. Bama doesn't have to deal with that, even with better athletes and more depth. I like your fight, though. You're a dedicated fan.

How are LSU fans going to react to the news Chris Allen of Baton Rouge is on the verge of committing to Alabama?

Exactly!!

bama played 25% more games than LSU and when you compare returning numbers on "D" the tiger defenders just destroy bamas. Especially the numbers of tackles. LSU brings back over 300+ more total tackles on about 160 less total plays. That just goes to show how much talent the tide lost on that side the ball.

If you break down the returning players sacks, tfl, ints, pbu, and passes defended on a per game avg. The two teams are equal.

Every stop Aranda has made as DC his defense has excelled from first game on. Up until now he has been dealing with 2* and 3* talent. That's not the case anymore.

At LSU he has hit the mother load of 4* and 5* talent. He has never seen this kind of talent before.

More depth for bama???

LSU returns more experienced backups at all three levels of the "D".

Right on. I gave up on having conversations with them a long time ago. I think the exact moment was in 2011 when they tried to convince me they actually won that game.
