Instead of replacing pretty much every skill position starter on offense including QB, as well as 3 of 5 OL, we return probably the best WR squad in the country (with the addition of the german name transfer). we lose henry but have essentially his physical twin (scarbo) waiting in the wings along with the former #1 RB recruit, return 3 of 5 OL (with some excellent depth options due to incredible OL classes the last 3 years), and have a very promising crop of QBs waiting to take over (cornwell and barnett are probably the 2 most gifted QBs we have recruited at bama since saban got here).

on defense we return pretty much all of our sack and interception production and will once again most likely have the best and deepest LB squad. the only position that will probably take a step back is DT with robinson and reed leaving, but we have plenty of big athletic guys to step in like daron payne, josh frazier, etc, plus returning jon allen, dalvin tomlison, hand. Our secondary should be a huge strength next year with all the crazy talent and now years of experience as well. Mix in yet another #1 recruiting class (we always have a couple true freshman make a big contribution)and we are poised to make yet another run

15-0. Screenshot me saying this and watch me be right. This team will be one of Saban's best. RTR!

Usually when Alabama has a dominant defense, there is a drop off the next year even if it is trivial. This may be the first time Alabama has a dominant defense that actually is better the following year.

Every year for a few years now we've all said "Bama will have three losses this year, they've lost too much."

Honestly Bama will stay dominant. Saban has pretty much proved that he's plugging and playing right now. The thing is Bama's schedule really does not favor them this year. Tennessee, LSU, and Arkansas will all be much improved, and they play all of them away (with the addition of Ole Miss away as well who seems to be finding a way to get it done against them recently). While I believe Alabama will stay just as dominant, will they be able to handle a tougher schedule than last year? I feel that if Ole Miss and Tenn can force Bama into a shootout they'll be able to win. The same goes for LSU but our ability to even gameplan to go for a shootout seems doubtful at the moment.

That being said the game has come down to the wire the past few times in Tiger Stadium. Even Miles's worst two teams ever took eventual Division winner Bama teams into OT (08 and 14). And the '12 team went down to the last minute.
So the question really isn't if Bama will be worse because I don't think they will. But can any of their four hardest opponents all take advantage of an improved team and home field advantage to rise to Bama's level?

We will see.

Only potential loss this year is to LSU. We out talent or out coach every other team by a large gap.

Bama is in a good spot for sure but I'll believe Scarbo is another Henry when I see it.

Are we supposed to be surprised? Bama signs the #1 recruiting class every year. Bama is not supposed to have roster uncertainty.

I'm still amazed that Bama beat Clemson. It looked like it was going to be a 21-0 style stomp for a while

I think we give y'all a game this year.

We are absolutely loaded.

I'm not saying we win, but I guarantee you its close and will be Bama's hardest game of the year.

Are you counting 2016 as a title yet? You've won it just as much as you won 1941.

I hope this roster experiences arrests, attitude problems, in fighting, some NCAA violations, players processed, and overall bad luck in general.

Nothing personal.
