No. But he is catching a ride with Mike Ford.

Kipp Adams spoke to Robertson after he returned from Tuscaloosa. He still lists Stanford as his leader but has Alabama, Georgia and Notre Dame all tied at #2. No mention of Georgia Tech apparently. He is taking the SAT again this coming Saturday. He still has one OV left.

Thanks.

If he doesn't get his score up, I see Georgia getting that final visit.

If he picks UGA or Bama then I feel like he was full of shite about academics being a priority.

Overall quality of the academic program, sure. But I know Bama's academic support is the best in the country. Georgia will probably be similar with Kirby at the helm.

As South detailed, Robertson—who is hoping to obtain the necessary test scores to be admitted into Stanford—has the Cardinal as his current leader, with the other three schools in a three-way tie just behind them.

This latest development is a departure from where things stood earlier in the month, when the Irish were the perceived favorites in his recruitment.

But the Tide were able to make a move with Robertson over the weekend.

quote:

“Alabama showed me a lot about life after football,” Robertson told Kipp Adams of Dawgs247 (via South). “I learned a lot about my degree and they definitely moved up the ladder for me.”

quote:

As Tom Loy of 247Sports noted, there’s a sentiment from people close to Robertson that suggests he wants to end up at an academic power such as Stanford or Notre Dame in the end.

But Alabama’s persistence with him paid off in getting him on campus over the weekend, and that trip also suggests that the Tide will remain major players in his recruitment until it comes to a close.

He wants to go to Stanford or Notre Dame. He's not concerned about academic support.

Not to smart on his part since he is struggling just to get in you would think academic support would be a priority for him. Just saying

I'm sure it would be priority for him at Stanford, not so much at Bama.

You do realize that he's struggling to get into Stanford, right?

I don't care if you are going to community college or Harvard, to say he doesn't care about academic support is foolish. If he honestly doesn't care regardless of his destination is also foolish

Which is what I said. He can not get into Stanford but yet it not considering whether a school has a strong academic support system.

There's a difference between getting into Stanford and UGA/Bama. The kid is relatively smart. He would be wise to use the support system at any school he attends.

If he can read he will not need academic support at Alabama.

I was lucky enough to get on an unofficial visit to Alabama. Even as a 17 year old, I was BLOWN AWAY by the academic support system. My dad still talks about it to this day.

Do you really think that any school in the SEC doesn't have a great academic support system?
