KN has a live thread going for this recruiting weekend. Here's some highlights

- Calvin Ashley and his family were the first to arrive, they left early to avoid inauguration traffic

- Moultry was met by KJ Britt when he arrived. Britt is his player host as well. The 2 of them are real good friends. Can't wait to watch them bust heads together over the next 3-4 years

- Derrick Brown is Ryan Johnson's host, KN originally reported he was hosting former teammate Tyler Taylor. KN says of the 2016 class not sure any player loves AU as much as Derrick Brown

- Ohio State won the 4* WR Oliver Martin visit lottery over AU, UF & MICH. KN says AU not giving up and still think they could earn a visit. Have to think having an OC now should help but we will see

- Some more player host matchups:
5* OT Calvin Ashley -> Mike Horton (Horton is apparently low key but fun dude to be around and has similar personality to Ashley)
4* OT Austin Troxell -> Kerryon Johnson (former HS teammates)
4* ATH Alaric Williams -> Malik Miller
4* LB Tyler Taylor -> Darrell Williams (staff wanted him to have someone other than Brown as host to give fresh perspective according to KN)
4* WR Noah Igbinoghene -> Eli Stove
3* S Carlito Gonzalez -> Marlon Character
3* S Jordyn Peters -> Malcolm Askew
3* CB Traivon Leonard -> John Broussard

- Apparently Jarrett Stidham was at the athletic complex greeting recruits Friday. Stidham apparently spent a good bit of time this weekend talking with Calvin Ashley. Good to hear he already helping out in recruiting

- For Tyler Taylor his mom is key. Most important person in his recruitment and coaches are spending lots of time her

- Kind of cool but they apparently had a player panel where recruits and families can ask current players questions about AU. Marlon Davidson was one of the players

- KN hearing things are going real well with Calvin Ashley, Chase Lasater, Ryan Johnson & Tyler Taylor. Obviously they should all be having a good time on official visits but sounds like confidence in keeping Ashley and landing other 3 is rising

- KN says that Jarrett Stidham and Chandler Cox have already become really good friends and Cox has helped Stidham make the transition. Both have been doing a lot of recruiting for AU this weekend

- Chip Lindsey went straight to work recruiting joining up with everyone after bball game & I assume the press conference

- KN wouldn't be shocked if Lasater committed today

I like it a lot. There needs to be a lot of cohesion between our two top quarterbacks so that there isn't tension when one subs for the other.

It's always interesting seeing who player hosts are. Stuff like the derrick Brown comment you never really know about, but players that willingly host recruits you get a little extra insight into their personality
