The truth of the matter is the teams that win championships stop the run and run it almost unstoppably themselves. You need a passing game to keep opponent honest but championships are won and lost on the ground. It's why even tho bama can be burned deep they win because they stop the run and pound you when they have the ball. We just need a threat of a passing game not an elite one
