You don't have to show humility/be humble to give proper credit though is what I meant. Accepting/acknowledging you are the most important piece is not mutually exclusive with acknowledging that there are other important pieces too


If Cam gave Nick Fairley some credit for 2010, that isn't being "humble" but honest/accurate. If he said Nick Fairley was the most important that would be "humble" and probably dishonest.

People don't seem to understand what the dictionary definition of humble (or humility) is. They think anytime someone gives proper credit to others it is "humble" and when they take proper credit for themselves it is "not humble"

To actually be humble, you either are purposefully lying/being dishonest about your role or you are too naive to know who deserves what credit. These people are shady mother effers. Imagine a king's advisor who glorifies the underserving king so the king likes him/keeps him around.
