He's a "solid" safety, nothing more. And he can be a liability.... Big step up from what we had at safety before him... But big step down from the explosive potential he showed at RB

I admire him greatly for doing what's best for the team by playing defense. But if he wanted a chance at an NFL career he would have demanded to stay at RB.

That doesn't make any sense... fords body type better fits an NFL free safety than an NFL RB... and their careers are generally longer.

Ford will get his shot in the league one day... and he can play all special teams groupings.

None of that is true. Playing RB in high school really means nothing. Ford is the best safety in a decade. He has NFL potential at S and will probably be a 5th round pick.
