This may seem like the ex-girlfriend you break up and hope she doesn’t find someone better. But this is different because she was a good girl, you just weren’t ready for a relationship. You hope to get on Facebook and see that she is doing good. Most UGA fans appreciate Mark Richt and hope nothing but the best.

Young enough to rebuild the program, respected enough to get the facility upgrades needed, and knowledgeable enough to bring in quality recruits. Best coach available for that program.

Seems like a strange hire. I know he played there but every time Miami has been good is when it's full of thugs. I think Richt would be a great fit at BYU.

Strange? Geez. He may have the same severance package that Muschamp had at UF....where UF would pay him in full each year left on his contract (2 or 3 yrs) and he could seek other employment without penalty. Richt may that also and I am very very curious as to the amount UM pays him.
He would HAVE to take paycut for their budget and I wonder where are they going to get $$ to build a new stadium...they are not a state school...and even our state schools get money from boosters for expansion and upgrades. UM has no real boosters....but Im sure they are trying like hell to line up a large corp to help fund things. Richt will find recruiting a little tougher down there because of the lack of facilities and stadium and fan support. I jsy dont know if this is a fact...Finebaum has hard time remembering schools names, coaches names and maybe he is going senile.
