are hoping to get into the mix. But compare those and their "best" loss
OU lost to a bad UT team (yes I know they are playing good now)
Bama lost to a fairly good OM team
MSU lost to an average at best NU team
OSU lost to a good MSU team
UNC does not have a chance if they win but they lost to a bad SC team in the first game.
I am pretty sure the committee discusses this along with the SOS etc. Thoughts anyone

Michigan state should have a single loss to Michigan. That Nebraska ending was bullshite.

Totally Agree.

maybe so but either way it is a loss. MSU or Iowa wins they are in so it really does not matter. if MSU was undefeated but loses to Iowa they would not be in the final 4

nvm, read that wrong. I thought you meant UT (Texas) was playing good right now.

I'd call OM and Nebraska a push. Don't think there's enough evidence on either side to say who is objectively better. Nebraska and OM both have silly losses.
Granted, OM has the far better win but that was more of a fluke and an indictment on Alabama.

I have a question
If Ole Miss didn't lose to Arkansas, What would happened? Does that mean Alabama still would of went to the playoffs or would they have tried to put Ole Miss in over them?

Are you retarded, high, or both?
How can you not say that a 9-3 team isn't objectively better than a 5-7 team?

Nebraska has had a lot of close losses, but they've had twice as many losses as Ole Miss. And yes Turnover Tommy Armstrong would single handedly sink Nebraska's chance at victory. But the history shows that Ole Miss wouldn't blow them out. NU rarely gets blown out.

'Bama would still be in because of their perception nationally. They have lost to inferior teams on their home field before and not paid any price, just like this season.

Thoughts... The top 8 teams in the country should compete in a playoff for the national championship. AND you should be required to compete in a conference championship game to qualify for the playoff.
This 4 team setup is the biggest load of shite I've ever seen.
For instance, say Mich St beats Iowa... How on earth do you pick 1 of those teams to go in, but leave the other 2 out?
OR what if UNC beats Clemson? Who the heck should go in that scenario?
